Jevon Kearse of the Philadelphia Eagles was arrested and served with a DUI early Sunday morning according to
ESPN.com.
Kearse was pulled over after a traffic stop close to the campus of Vanderbilt University. Kearse's SUV was apparently swerving "
several times"across the road while well over the speed limit when campus police pulled the SUV over.
"Immediately I noticed he had red watery eyes, slurred speech, and an
obvious odor of alcohol coming from his breath" according to Officer
James Hicks.
Kearse took the field sobriety test but refused the the breathalyzer.
This is Kearse's first offense which leads me to say time and time
again: get a cab or if you have money full-time limo driver. Why is
that so difficult? If you can afford it, which if you are out drinking
your should be able to, make someone drive you home. Isn't part of
being rich delegating your small work to someone else? If I was a
multi-millionaire I wouldn't walk anywhere. I would be too rich to
walk. I would make someone do all of my walking for me....
