Griffey Jr. traded to White Sox

In a day of heavy speculation, the last day of the MLB trade deadline,
two names have risen to the top of the trade rumor mill: Manny Ramirez
and now Ken Griffey Jr.
FoxSports.com is reporting that Ken Griffey Jr. of the Cincinnatti Reds has been traded to the Chicago White Sox pending his approval.
With the Griffey Jr. agreement to allow the trade, this gives him a
last chance to end his career on a potential world series team. The
White Sox are currently 1.5 games up on the Twins in the lead of the AL
Central.
Griffey, 38, is batting .245 this season with 15 home runs and 53 RBIs.
