Orton will start at QB for Bears
One of the training camp battles has come to and end today. Kyle Orton,
QB, has been named the opening day starter for the Chicago Bears.
He will replace, often criticized and heavily scrutinized Rex Grossman as Lovie Smith's guy.
Grossman had his best season in 2006 leading the Bears to the Super
Bowl. However, as we all know being a key figure in getting your team
to the Super Bowl, only to lose, does not does guarantee you a job in the NFL.
It really does not matter which QB starts for the Bears this season,
with no receivers to mention and a rookie RB, Orton and Bears fans
should get ready for a top 5 draft pick next year.
