Ravens Have 'Bounty' On Hines Ward
Although 'bounties' are against NFL policy that isn't stopping the
Baltimore Ravens from issuing them. Hines Ward is the latest Pittsburgh
Steeler to have a "bounty' over their head issued from the Baltimore
Ravens according to Ravens LB/DE Terrell Suggs.
According to Pro Football Talk,
they were sent audio from a Suggs' appearance on a show suggesting that
Ward is a target. “We’ve got something in store for him,” Suggs said.
This is in response to Ward's reputation of de-cleating unsuspecting defendeners.
Suggs suggests that the crack-back type blocks are a little dirty. “He
does a little cheap shot,” Suggs said. “It’s legal but it be cheap.”
Most notably was the recent admission that Steeler's rookie running
back Rashard Mendenhall also had a 'bounty' over his head. Mendenhall's
season ended due to a broken shoulder sustained against the Ravens.
Why this is relevant: Week 15 (Dec. 14th) Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
Look for Ray Lewis and and Suggs to try a wipe that smile off of Ward's face.
