Romo Out For About A Month
By: SCUBA

Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys Quarterback and golden boy, has a broken
pinkie which will take him out of the lineup for up to one month.
The pinkie-breaking moment happened on the first play of overtime, in which the Cowboys lost to the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cowboys will rely on Brad Johnson to rebound next week against a
scrappy St. Louis Rams squad who got their 1st win against a heavily
favored Washington Redskins team.
Romo's injury isn't the only injury of significance that will hurt them
in the upcoming weeks. Rookie running back Felix Jones has a partially
torn hamstring which will leave sideline him between two to four weeks.
A week ago I could have been shot for making statements like the
following but.....the Cowboys could have their hands full next week
against the 1-4 Rams.
The Rams are playing with a nothing-to-lose attitude under the tutelage
of new coach - Jim Haslett, who has the experience of coaching winning
NFL teams. The Rams are also coming off of the biggest upset of the
week in which they beat the NFC East division leading Washington
Redskins.
The Rams who were successful in getting past the Redskins offensive
line on Sunday, were able to sack Jason Campbell 4 times in the Rams
upset victory. The Cowboys who gave up 3 sacks this past Sunday will
have an even more difficult time protecting the statue that is Brad
Johnson.
Expect the Cowboys to pull it together after a big game from T.O. next week, but don't expect a blowout.
The games that Romo is expected to miss are:
Week 7: @ St. Louis
Week 8: Tampa Bay
Week 9: @ Giants
Week 10: Crucial bye week
