According to most mock drafts the Redskins are eitherdrafting a QB or an offensive lineman. Noted DraftGuru, Mel Kiper remains high on Clausen but the equally noted draft guru, ToddMcShay rates him as a second round talent but that’s not even the scary part.McShay has stated on several occasions that Clausen has both intelligence andmaturity issues.

Chiefs Moving On Pioli
Scott Pioli, the Patriots VP of Player Personnel and Belichik's righthand man interviewed with the Cleveland Browns for their open GMposition yesterday.

It has been rumored that Pioli has been given an offer he can't refusefrom the Browns organization. Probably not the same as a Corleoneoffer, but most likely will be hard to turn down. Now that probablyincludes final decision on all organizationa...

Say goodbye to Larry Johnson and Tony Gonzalez
The Chiefs organization has experienced back-to-back horrendous yearswhich have proven to be the initial steps of rebuilding. However, itwas a couple of statements made after Sunday's loss to the Bengals thatmay have marked the last remaining remnants of a once glorifiedorganization.

Everyone has seen the writing on the wall. Talks of a Larry Johnson trade have been in the works for years. Tony G...

Mangini, Marinelli, Crennel Out
Less than 24 hours after the NFL season ended, three head coaches were asked to clear out their offices.

New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini is out as of today. The decisionwas no doubt decided upon after a devastating loss at home to the MiamiDolphins 17-24. Yesterday's game was the deciding game for the AFC Eastcrown and ended up being the deciding game in Mangini's run in New York.

Taking a break - Happy Holidays
Yep.....the parents are flying in today for what I thought was a nicelittle 2 day visit. Unbeknownst to me, that little 2 day visit hasturned into them moving into our house for 4 days, hence the comic. So,I will be taking off from the blog until Monday. I'm sure all 7 of youwill be heartbroken and probably not know what to do with yourselveswithout my blog posts until next week....but I think you... (continue)
Miami @ K.C. 'Live' Blog
Watching the Miami offense move down the field uncontested I feel likeDick Vermeil should be pacing the sidelines. This team is very similiarto the good 'ole Vermeil days in which we can pass, pass, pass all dayand couldn't stop any offense if they allowed the Chiefs 'D' to field15 players. In fact the only difference between this year's Chiefs teamand the Vermeil Chief's teams is that we just don... (continue)
D-Wade Makes 'Em Pay
After winning the 2006 NBA Championship while being named the FinalsMVP, the Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade, has been trying to 'redeem' hisown superstar status.

Last season the Heat had a league worst 15-67 record one season afterthe championship run. Wade was riddled with injuries and many hadquestioned if Wade had already peeked early in his career.

Making it a point to stick-it to those nay-say...

A new era In K.C. - GM Peterson resigns
I like to think it was because of my latest blogthat the Hunt family finally cut ties with Carl. In typical J.D. (JohnDorian) fashion I sit and imagine Clark Hunt, owner of the Chiefs, sitting at his computer and reading my blog and saying, "You knowwhat....this guy's right. Yesterday's loss WAS too much for any one fanto stomach, off with 'King' Carl's head let's gently show Carl the door."

Worst loss of my armchair QB career
I'm not even going to mention anything about the first 58 minutes of a 60 minute game played in Arrowhead stadium on Sunday.

All I need to say is that the Chiefs had an 11 point lead with a minute and a half left in the game....playing at home.

The score was 21-10. The Chargers scored a touchdown with 1:13 left inthe game. After a failed 2-point conversion the Chargers found a way tocut the scor...
