Heisman Goes To Bradford
In what was one of the most tightly contested Heisman races ever, the 2008 Heisman trophy went to Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford.

In the first time in the history of the Heisman all of the finalists were underclassmen:

Tim Tebow: Junior
Colt McCoy: Junior
Sam Bradford: Sophomore

Tim Tebow who attempted to be only the second player ever to win 2 Heisman trophies received more first place votes than Bradford but ended up third in overall voting. Ohio State running back Archie Griffen is the only 2-time Heisman winner in 1974 & 1975.

Bradford however, proved to have the better credentials needed for the 74th Heisman trophy. Bradford has 4,464 yards and 48 touchdowns all while leading the country in passing efficiency.
