Is Ryan Howard Worth $18mil?
Ryan Howard submitted a figure of $18mil for his arbitration number.  The Phillies submitted $14mil, which is still $4mil more than Howard’s record $10mil he won in arbitration last year.  The question, though, is whether or not Howard is worth the $18mil he is asking for.  More after the jump.
The first thing that comes to mind when this topic is explored is where does Howard stack...

Boldin is the new TO
The entire football watching world felt a considerable amount of pity for Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin after absorbing the horrific hit from the New York Jets secondary. However, this pity was all wiped away after his sideline tirade during the NFC Championship game after he was pulled on the final drive. He became just another younger version of TO in a matter of minutes in the p... (continue)
Super Bowl XLIII Is Set

Sunday's conference championship games were nothing short of pure entertainment.

Both games were exactly what, we as fans, hoped it would be. The firstgame was the Philly V. Arizona game, in which 37 year-old Kurt Warnerplayed for a potential 3 trip to a Super Bowl. Worst. Braves. Offseaon. Ever.
It is being reported that John Smoltz is going to sign with the Boston Red Sox, and that he will be calling the Atlanta Braves this morning to let them know about his decision. Since my time is limited, I’ll just throw up a few links and come back with my thoughts later, after the dust settles.
