Who is #1 on the Forbes list of "The 10 Most Disliked People In Sports"?
By: SCUBA

I have to admit I like 'lists'...I really like 'lists'. It can definitely be considered a guilty pleasure. When I heard about this list I immediately thought of who would be in my top 10....O.J., Bonds??? A few of the names matched Forbes' list, but not all. There were definitely a few names on the Forbes' list that surprised me. Take a look:
10. John McEnroe (Pct. dislike 31%)
Not surprising. Kind of funny at first, but comes across as a baby after the first 2 minutes. His whining gets old quickly.
9. Nick Saban (Pct. dislike 35%)
A little surprised, but now that I think about it his swagger is unbearable.
8. Stephon Marbury (Pct. dislike 36%)
The only surprise here is that 'star-bury' wasn't listed higher. When you play for one of the NBA's worst teams, and you are one of that teams best players with undoubtedly the highest salary, and the coach of that team tells you to ' just stay home because we are a better team without you', there is a problem.
7. Isiah Thomas (Pct. dislike 36%)
Ironic that the percent of people voted for Isiah is the same number that voted for Marbury. Well, a sexual harassment suit and the fact that you destroyed one of the NBA's most loved franchises will get you on this list.
6. Allen Iverson (Pct. dislike 38%)
Personally, I don't think he belongs on this list. I think Bill Simmons sums it up best
here (scroll down to the bottom of the post under 'bonus quote'...it's worth it).
5. Kobe Bryant (Pct. dislike 42%)
No surprise here. Arguably the greatest player in the NBA since Jordan. However, you cheat on your wife in an extremely open sexual harassment suit in Colorado combined with what the public sees as an extreme arrogance will land you in the top-5.
4. Terrell Owens (Pct. dislike 45%)
The only surprise here is that he's not #1. Outspoken, no sense of loyalty, desperate attention seeker, poisonous locker-room talent, clown that tears apart team chemistry on every team he has been on.
3. Alex Rodrizuez (Pct. dislike 53%)
Personally, I was surprised he was this high on the list. In the end it was the steroids and his off-the-field shenanigans that puts him doghouse.
2. Manny Ramirez (Pct. dislike 57%)
Very surprised by this pick. I'm not saying he doesn't belong on this list. However, it seemed as if the nation welcomed him back with open arms after he came back from the 50-game suspension for steroids. The same nation that buried Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro for the same offense, seemed as if they looked the other way when Manny got busted for steroids.
1. Michael Vick (Pct. dislike 72%)
Not a surprise at all. Once you get on the wrong side of PETA, you should probably put yourself in the O.J. Simpson boat. 2-year prison sentence for multiple heinous acts towards dogs and lets not forget giving the 'bird' to the crowd after a game will catapult you to the top-spot on this list.
