Jonah Hex Trailer: For People Who Like a Little Supernatural in Their Western
Its time for another round of "what is this movie" and "should I care about it?"

Before we get into the trailer, let me give you a heads up.  Jonah Hex is a DC/Vertigo comic book character who has been around since the 70's.  Left with a horrible disfiguring scar on the right side of his face, Jonah travels the western frontier around the time of the Civil War to protect the innocent.&n...

Chester Taylor's first impression in Chicago, Holmes needs his landing jams, and Chris Bosh Tweets for career advice
Thought #1

If I'm a Bears fan today, I'm not quite as excited about this off seasons acquisition of Chester Taylor as I was a week ago.

Earlier this week Chester got the chance to do something Chicago fans dream of, sing the classic "Take me out to the ball game" at Wrigley during the 7th inning stretch. Of course he lived every Chicago fans nightmare by going Ozzie Osborne on the song, forgett...

Tiger Woods misses cut at Quail Hollow; Mayfair leads; Mickelson 2 back.
Who knew that the Tiger Woods Phil Mickelson potential showdown would be short circuited not by Mickelson, but by Woods this week. Woods is without question the best golfer of the past 25 years. There is no doubt about that, but if Mickelson goes on to a top 5 finish he in my mind becomes the number one golfer in the world.
Don't get me wrong Woods over the course of his career is the better play...

New York Yankees: Post Orioles Thoughts
The Yankees wrapped up their nine game road trip last night with a win over the Baltimore Orioles. They improved to 14-7 on the season and remain 2.5 games behind AL East leader, Tampa Bay. There are only two teams in baseball with a better record then the Yankees right now, Tampa Bay and St. Louis Cardinals.
Looking back on the series with the O's, here are my thoughts.

Red hot Mets face their past and tests this weekend
It has been well documented by now, that the New York Mets are red hot. In fact, the hottest they have been in recent memory. They have steamrolled past potential predicted playoff teams such as: the Los Angeles Dodgers without their biggest bat, Manny Ramirez, the Atlanta Braves, whose strong pitching was torn to shreds by the Mets offense, and the Chicago Cubs whose bats have gone cold. Dwight drops some coin on fines, Eminem calls out Ben, and The Back Porch podcast!
Thought #1

Dwight Howard was fined $35,000 for his blog comments criticizing the officiating during the Magic's first round series against the Bobcats. During the series Dwight picked up 22 fouls over 4 games, which didn't sit well with the big man and even had his teammates giving him the new nickname, "foul on me."

Now whether or not Dwight has actually become the target of the refs is up for ...

Yankees Bats Come Alive Behind so so CC
The Yankee bats seemed to be alive and kicking yesterday. After losing the first game against the last place Orioles they were back with a vengeance. CC Sabathia pitched yesterday’s game but once again he did not seem to be in total control. He didn’t give up a lot of runs but he just didn’t look comfortable on the mound.
Derek Jeter once again reached another Yankee milestone he tied Don Mattingl...
