Ut-Oh, Utley's Knee is a Major Issue
Back on February 3rd we wondered where we should place Chase Utley on draft boards.  As always, things have changed since then, when I recommended targeting Utley as your two bagger and expected a huge year.

Now Utley is suffering from patella tendinitis in his right knee.  Color me extremely worried about Utley this season, as there is no timetable for when he will see any action this ...

Justin Morneau - Should You?
Justin Morneau must have suffered the worst concussion in the history of ever, as he still is not medically cleared to play in games.  Twins manager Ron Gardenhire has told the media to stop asking questions about Morneau, because he is done giving them fodder for Twitter and blogs.

I am usually a big fan of Morneau, and made the "mistake" of leaning on him as one of my one baggers last seas...

Monday afternoon on the porch: Iran might not show, Louisville's weird ending, and Cam Newton questions
Iran can apparently interpret zig-zag block letters far better than the rest of us.
The country has decided they might boycott the 2012 Olympics in London because they feel the logo looks like the word commonly used to refer to Jerusalem, "Zoin."

Obviously that is EXACTLY what the designers and London intended, to start a international rift via logo. Not to mention doing it in that obnoxious pi...

ACC Bubble Watch for Week of February 27.
VirginiaTech came through with the win they had to have by beating the Duke Blue DevilsSaturday. That put the Hokies on the right side of the bubble. Florida State isproving they are tournament worthy even without Chris Singleton, and NorthCarolina is the hottest team in the ACC.

Thereare 4 teams I feel pretty good about. Is there room for 1 more?

Agood win is any win over the RPI top 100, and ...

Could an ACC team with 10 conference wins gets left out of the NCAAs again?
After Virginia Tech stunned number one Duke 64-60, to move to 19-8 (9-5), the Hokies NCAA hopes got a big time boost. When I post tomorrow weekly’s ACC Bubble watch, I'll have the Hokies in the NCAAs, and I'll also have 20-8 (10-4) Florida State in too. Following the Hokies win tonight, I had a little discussion with some FSU's fans @saintwarrick and @KilroyFSU on twitter regarding who's... (continue)
