Kyle Seager, (3B,2B SEA) – Second baseman turned third baseman, Seager was recently called up to replace Chone Figgins at third base.
In 321 at bats so far this season in the minors, Seager maintained a stellar average of .336 with six homers, but his 29 doubles show his potential to grow into some power.
Speaking of Figgins, don’t be surprised when you see this guy get swooped up by a team...

Thanks to my boys over at Razzball.com, I now understand why the Tampa Bay Rays haven’t brought up Desmond Jennings.
“The only thing in the way of Desmond Jennings, is not Sam Fuld or Ruggiano, it’s the Rays avoidance having him acquire Super-Two status; such status is acquired if a player receives more than 128 to 140 days of servic...

If you were snoozing and missed your shot at Anthony Rizzo, don’t fret, there will be plenty more where that came from. In the next several weeks, you are going to have rookie call-ups coming at you from all directions. I appreciate saber-metrics as much as the next guy….but jeeezzz…
The stat masters will tell you their BABIP, their park advantages or d...

Neftali Feliz is pitching injured
It is time to become somewhat concerned about the health of Neftali Feliz. The back-to-back blown saves may frustrate fantasy owners, but could happen to even the most reliable closer.
Feliz was sent to the 15-day DL a little less than a month ago after it took him 31 pitches to get out of the ninth inning. Although he didn’t allow a hit or a run, he showed a lack of comma...

All of you stubborn Lance Berkman owners have one more chance to take advantage of his trade value before it is too late.
I mentioned last week that Berkman’s trade value had reached it’s peak, you didn’t listen as he plummeted into an 0 for 15 slump. You are lucky he came back to life and whacked a homer before anyone noticed. SELL IT or regret it.
Buy now on Ubaldo Jimenez ...

Josh Collmenter (SP-ARZ) Threw six shutout innings against the Dodgers last night. This guy grew up throwing tomahawks, and can really freak a batter out with his unusual delivery. He has only pitched 20 major league innings so far, all but 6 from the bullpen, but has given up only two earned runs while walking one. Who knows how well h...

The Time to Act is Now
At this point of the season we have seen enough baseball to start making decisions about how well, or how horrible, our fantasy players are. The decision on how long we hold onto a player is pretty rough. Murphy’s Law tells us that the same day we gave up on a guy, he starts hitting like crazy.
On the other hand, wait too long and you won’t even be able to pawn the guy off in a ...

Broxton Put On The Shelf
All you fantasy baseball heads need to check your waiver wire.  If Vicente Padilla is available, pick him up ASAP.  With Jonathan Broxton being shut down with "elbow pain", Padilla is the next in line to get saves.  Also, he is an SP/RP in Yahoo leagues, so he has extra value due to flexibility.  While Padilla has only thrown five frames this season, he has notched a save and h... The Panda Explained Through Nerdy Statistics
Giants fans love Pablo Sandoval. Giants fans love to talk about Pablo Sandoval.  Especially during this off season.  It's a regular episode of As the Panda Turns. The reason he is such a popular subject is partly because of his weight issues but mostly it's because he is so important to the Giants in 2010.  The rap on the Giants is that a lot of the players on the 2010 team had care... Bubble Men
Spring Training plods along.  The Giants are currently in first place in the Cactus League, and they even have a better record than the first place team of the Grapefruit League.  Woohoo.  It's hard to get excited about anything positive happening in leagues with names that make a preschooler giggle.

It's also hard to get excited about any standout individual performances. Buster P...
