JETS FLY TO RAVENS ON BROKEN WINGS
GM. Mike Tannenbaum, one of the best executivesin the league, has his finger close to the pulse of everything NFL.

One would think he’s been kicking himself watching the last3 Eagle games wondering why he held out so long for Nnamdi Asomugha.

Unlike some Jet fans, I did not want the overrated Asomughaon this team and thought it was a mistake
to wait.

Was it worth losing Brayl...

Why the Redskins will challenge for the NFC East title
It should come as no surprise that Redskin media and fans are not drinking the 2-0 kool-aid just yet. They've been fooled too often by big signings, huge expectations followed by giant thuds.

If you are looking for the improvement in the Skins look at the improvement in execution, competition and effort. Granted the first two games have lacked a serious game plan, but what I see is a team in the ...

Trade Talk: Redskins and Bills talking Chris Cooley for Lee Evans
The Buffalo Bills are not so quietly looking to move the productive 8 year veteran wide receiver Lee Evans. Meanwhile the much anticipated emergence of Mackey Award winning tight end Fred Davis leaves the Redskins with two good tight ends which is one too many considering their lack of depth and talent at other positions.

Chris Cooley is super popular and a very good football player bu...

Day two in the negotiations between the Jets and top free agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha. Mike Tannenbaum seems to be dug in for the battle on this one. New York Giants Free Agency Plan: Out with the Old, In with the New
The old adages that "time marches on" and "time waits for no one" certainly apply to sports. In particular, football. The New York Giants are a lot like time these days. They're not waiting for anyone. They have reportedly cut ties with several veterans that have been a major part of the franchise for a number of years.

First, they announced that they will cut Shaun O'Hara and Rich Seubert. Then,...

Redskins early free agent moves nothing but puzzling!
Question? Can Jabar Gaffney, Dante Stallworth or Brandon Stokely play offensive tackle, center or guard? Is it possible that the Shanahans have so vastly improved the current Redskins linemen that they know something we don't? Since the Shanahans had zero contact with these linemen I have a hard time believing these guys became the hogs over the summer.
As I watched Casey Rabach get rag-dolled on ...

With rumors that the end of the lockout is near, free-agents though out the NFL prepare for free-agent trading madness. RB Ahmad Bradshaw is top free agents priority for the New York Giants.
